Hiking Adventure – 10 day tour

In cooperation with “Back to the roots” we have designed a 10-day package for single travellers, couples or friends who are keen on meeting new people and exploring the island in a very special, authentic and natural way.

This group trip offers an authentic, immersive experience of the island. We focus on slow tourism, creating lasting memories through mindful travel. While the entire route can be covered in a day by car, our emphasis is on moving slowly and consciously, fully connecting with the environment.

How?

When you arrive on the island of Naxos, we will meet you and take you to your first accommodation. That´s about the only drive that is involved. From now on, you will discover Naxos on foot. We have chosen a route that will take you from one side of the island to the other.

During this trip you will discover beautiful landscape, eat in local tavernas, learn about the local flora and fauna, see famous sights, enjoy outdoor activities and meet new friends.

We have arranged a variety of carefully selected accommodation along the route, so that you can relax and settle into a comfortable environment after each day´s hike. Don´t worry about your heavy luggage, we´ll carry it for you from place to place.

You have suffered an injury and are you ready to give everything to get back to “perfection” as quickly as possible?

This package is individually designed for professionals who wish to benefit from the exceptional experience and knowledge of a sports coach combined with that of a medical doctor.

How we will make it work

Together we will analyse your current level of fitness, discuss any medical issues you may have and define the goals you want to achieve with my help.

Before the training starts we will:

Find a suitable holiday home for the duration of the training camp
Familiarise you with the logistics of the island and assist you with transportation to our training sites
Create your personal daily and weekly training plan
Assist you with your individual nutrition plan
Provide consultation of daily life organisation.

Duration

This package will vary in time depending on your training requirements.

1 – week preparation

We will have 7 days in a row to focus on your most important physical needs. This will be complemented by sports psychological coaching.

2 – 6 weeks trainings camp

The camp is professionally designed and adapted to the short- and long-term planning of your current career and the goals that have to be achieved for your next success.

We will spend up to 6 days a week for a maximum of 8 hours a day improving your physical performance, complemented by coaching and additional sport psychological assistance.

Long term support

This will be defined upon your request and adapted to your individual needs.

In the beginning we will meet, talk, train, consult almost daily. After a while, depending on your progress and stamina, you can do a bit more training on your own.

I offer long term support through online coaching and trainings, so you will not lose track, if you have to leave Naxos.

Don´t you know the feeling of just quickly sitting down, wanting to read the News on your phone, suddenly being distracted by someone’s message that pops up which then leads to something that you always wanted to “google” and of course – in that moment your phone is ringing…

Eventually you have neither read the news, nor replied to your friend´s message. It is a very common thing happening to almost every person that is using a smartphone.
Are you aware of that? Good! With this awareness you will be able to open up for what we have prepared for you.

This creation of a Regeneration for full mental- and physical awareness, will clear both your mind and your body. Every day will be different, every day will be lively and colourful and every day will have moments, that you will see and keep for life.

You won´t be forbidden to use your phone, but we will kindly advise you to leave it in the safely chosen place for the whole time of the Regeneration. You may use it wisely for 30 minutes a day to get in touch with people of necessity.

Please leave your Laptop, Tablet, Nintendo, Smartwatch, etc. at home.

Your 5-day Regeneration includes:

Daily morning stretching exercises and/or gymnastics, depending on your fitness level and demand
Healthy snacks, water and tea

One hike – length and altitude depend on your fitness level

This Regeneration is the ideal combination of a slow and natural way of exploring the island by foot.

Each day’s hike will lead you along different routes and throughout different areas of the island. You will walk on old marbel pathways that formerly connected the villages, hike along small wine fields, old Byzantine churches, overlook the island from the highest mountain, and experience breathtaking views towards the sea and surrounding islands.

This is only a glimpse of what you can expect…

Your 5-day Regeneration includes:
